Warm weather to cold weather to snow in a matter of hours

Yup,gotta love New England weather,yesterday was 60°F today is in the low 40s,tonight will be in the 20s and snow starting around midnight.Should snow until late tomorrow afternoon,3-6 inches expected. Heres a question...What happens to the white when the snow melts???????
