Congratulations to the Boston redsox,2013 World Series Champions

So last night we all could finally get to bed at a reasonable normal time as the Redsox won game 6 in the world series.Redsox have not clinched a world series win at Fenway pahk since 1918. After the latest stretch of games the Boston Redsox played during regular season,playoffs and the world series. I pretty much was saying back in april 2013,that it would be the Redsox and Dodgers in the world series,dodgers were close to to being in but the great classy cardinals eliminated the dodgers from another world series. The 6 world series games were very well played by both teams and had some nail biting moments. So check out this epic play by Jacoby Ellsbury as he tries to steal from first to second base. Totally amazing play!

Microsoft Xbox changes

My kids and i are xbox gamers. We have the gold family pack for Xbox. Recently I recieved an email stating that the Family Pack Plan is ending. This plan was a great deal because you got 4 family members with 1 year of xbox gold live for $99. So whewn my family pack expires in march 2014, this means I will have to buy a live gold membership for $59.99 each.That is a heck of alot more than $99.Apparently in the future microsoft will have deals going on for memberships,lets hope.
Now today I see on the web that microsoft is retiring the "Microsoft points" it offers.I guess that you will be able to purchase stuff with regular currency,which i guess is ok to. So basically I am not complaining,but simply just pondering what is going on in the world today? The deals of the past are going away slowly but surely and who is to benefit from it? Corporate greed?

Hostess twinkies "SOLD OUT"

So went to my local Shaws supermarket today and did some grocery shopping. Thruout my travels i noticed some shelf space with Hostess cakes. They were sold out of the twinkies,ho ho's and apple and blueberry pies,but they did have the cherry pie,which from years ago i thought were very delicious. I prefer the apple pie but hey we havent had Hostess products since November 2012. I know its junk food and not "good for you",but seriously how can you not like Hostess products like Twinkies,Devil Dogs,HoHo,Suzy Q's and the other good products hostess made! So goto a store and grab some hostess products and enjoy!...And yes this is "THE SWEETEST COMEBACK EVER!"

Are you like me and miss the hostess twinkies and other delicious brands hiostess used to make? Well Little Debbie snack cakes makes cloud cakes which are smaller and cheaper than twinkies but are just as good. My local supermarket keeps selling out on these delicious cakes. There are stores nearby that have them in stock but i do not want to drive around town today to get some.But during ther week i will be on a mission to stock up on the good ole cloud cakes until the twinkies come back!

Sad day for the music/rock world....RIP Clive Burr,first drummer for Iron Maiden. Clive made the first 3 albums with iron maiden.I grew up in the 70s 80s 90s rock era and iron maiden is a great band and are still touring today.

New england weather

Well dam gotta love new england weather! Wait a minute and it will change!As you see in my blog from last week it was very cold here,well yesterday and today it was in the 40's low 50's,earlier today it was down pouring and very windy but wait starting tonight we go back into the 20'sF and cold will stay for awhile and sunday we are getting 2-4 inches of snow LOL #confused

Tragedy in Brazil

Being from New England and seeing the usa history of these types of tragedies can only make us think why do they allow pyrotechnics to be used in small nightclubs? I have read the history on the Cocoanut Grove fire in Boston on 11/28/1942. Also almost 10 years ago we had the The station nightclub fire on 2/20/2003 in west warwick rhode island. Last night there was the terrible tragedy at a nightclub in southern brazil,the cause was from a bands pyrotechnics and reading the story, most died from not being able to get out of the one and only exit."Many people died after inhaling toxic fumes; and scores of people suffocated or were trampled as they fled the scene. Local media have reported that the club had only a single exit and panic spread as people tried to get out."RIP to all the victims of all these terrible tragedies.

Dam where did winter go? 60°F 14°C in southern new hampshire today.Temps will start going down this evening.Last week we were in the low teens and single digits,meteoroligist are saying next week we will get low temps that will be colder than last week meaning below 0..... brrrrrr..I guess just enjoy the mild spring weather while it is here!
